Jamie Frey and John-Severin Napolillo met on the B63 bus to Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn, NY discussing a Jane's Addiction CD in 2002. They've been making music together (and dissecting the musical canon together) ever since. They started the indie-rock band The Brooklyn What in 2007.

They currently play together in the pop rock ensemble NO ICE.
